Amid growing global pressure to reduce CO₂ emissions, Spark’s new offerings directly address Volkswagen’s 2018-updated VW 508 00 / 509 00 specifications, known as “Volkswagen BlueOil.” These standards, tailored for gasoline and diesel engines, emphasize low-viscosity 0W-20 formulations to boost fuel efficiency by up to 1.5% (compared to 5W-30 baseline oils). SPARK 0W-20 C5 Premium LL not only fully complies with these standards but also enhances low-speed pre-ignition (LSPI) protection, preventing turbo engine knock and deposit buildup, extending engine life, and reducing emissions.
